Nothing like publicizing U.S. military capacity and the location of its next “secret” weapon.
The Clinton’s sale of Raytheon technology to the Chicoms is probably directly responsible for this problem now.
God Save Us!
Another “woke” company is awarded a multi-billion dollar contract.
Let that sink in.
Go back to the original chicom hypersonic vehicle story and I’ll bet every writer who printed an inch of copy about it could be sourced straight to Raytheon folk.
Maybe Elon Musk can do something easy and cheap about all this. Throw him a couple of billion to make the problem go away. Better than giving $20B or so to Raytheon and its subcontractors.

.
Six months from now, the Chinese will have the blueprints.
They already do.
Their missles worked great for us in Vietnam.
My biggest complaint with them is their headquarters in Massachusetts.
.....hmmmmmm....let’s see.... isn’t the current Secretary of Defense, one General Austin, U.S. Army, retired, a former big-shot with Raytheon...??......jus’ askin’ .....
There’s a “Missile Defense Agency”..? Who knew.....
Can’t be the FIRST hypersonic missile. I worked on a Mach 8 missile in 1989 (32 years ago).
It’s one of the biggest employers in Huntsville, Alabama when you include the subcontractors, and has been for a while.
The first hypersonic interceptor, not just a hypersonic missile.
What defines interceptor? What I worked on was a surface to air missile. I guess intercepting a super fast object at Mach 5 is harder than hitting a jet.
We never get the truth, disinformation..
Technology of the world is 50 years plus behind developing systems..
In this case, the ability for a hypersonic missile to hit another hypersonic missile.
And, yes, it is harder to hit something going Mach 5+ than a jet.
