I read in an interview Mick really didn’t care all that much for Exile, especially the mix of it.

And it was written by John Entwhistle, not Pete Townshend.

She should have used Odorono

“Hang Fire” is a good song.

“In the sweet old country where I come from/Nobody ever works/And nothing gets done/We hang fire!”

Pretty much described England before Thatcher.

Maybe Roger doesn’t have to go on tour.

The Who were superior musicians
The Stones are the Stones. There is nothing comparable. They could go into the studio tomorrow, do nothing but cover old blues songs and double-Platinum.

Well Mick and Keith are now the only original members. And Keith barely plays because of arthritis.

LOL, I love the SNL episode where Garrett Morris is all serious and says. “You have besmirched the character of black women Mick, so I just have one question for you? Where are these black broads, baby? Got any phone numbers for me? Please!”

Now that is LOL! Back in the day when SNL was actually funny.

Isn’t moonlight mile the best?

Exile, sticky fingers, goats head soup, some girls, let it bleed, blanquette, black and blue…

Wild horses, sweet Virginia, waiting on a friend, honky tonk, brown sugar, winter, memory motel, can’t you hear me knocking, dead flowers, til the last time, tumbling dice, it’s only rock and roll…

We were looking for video of Pete Townsend playing summertime blues there was a reference to it on an old sit com. The kids were curious.

It’s great. The kids like it.

Had a tough time even coming up with two songs by The Who. Don’t have any albums

Why does daltrey do this? Why does any artist do this? It is the worst thing to do. The greats never do this. I remember the people who talk like this as being in a low class

Just a pissing contest. I hate most rockers politics. Love the Stones and the Who’s music. Saw the Stones in concert 3 times and The Who, once.

When he died in 2002, facedown, "Scarface-style" in a mountain of cocaine and a harem of top-shelf Vegas hookers ...

Some would say that is not a bad way to go.

Miss You was a great disco song before disco became passé.

And “Shattered” showed the punks, how it’s done.

It was the perfect record for the year 1977.

I actually liked Pete’s solo stuff, especially “White City” with David Gilmour. It was a needed break from The Who.

Let My Love Open the Door is fantastic.

"There ain't too many rock bands that can go from a jazz sound to blues to bluegrass like this."

You forgot, "Can't You Hear Me Knockin" with its amazing jazz sax/guitar bridge.

Other Stones country are Wild Horses, Tumblin Dice, Sweet Virginia, Country Honk. Nothing gets more country than "High and Dry" on their Aftermath recording. That was one of if not their best albums. C'mon man.

Anyone who wrote “Heh Jude” or “Squeeze Box” should never, ever, complain about another band.

Then of course the classic “Candy Slice”:

Gimme Mick, gimme Mick,

Wavy hair, bulging eyes, lips so thick,

Are you woman , are you man?

I’m your biggest funked up fan,

So rock me,

And roll me,

’til I’m sick.

I saw the Stones in Tuscaloosa, Ala. 1972, and The Who in Atlanta Omni 1975. The Stones were vastly superior. The Stones had Mick Taylor. The Who had 3 rotating mirror balls attached to the ceiling with lots of multi-color laser beams shining onto the mirrors. Each concert was enjoyable.
