I’ve been doing daylight savings nearly all my life and I want to know when am I going to be able to cash it in? I live at 48 North and I want some dang daylight! Where’s my daylight? Did the government spend it already?
That being the case, why not just get rid of the clock completely?
************
IMO for certain people that is feasible except for special things
such as appointments one has to make/have. Personally I use the
body system of telling me time pretty much. Being retired I have
no set time for most things. Now the world doesn’t operate that
way and must have some scheduling method. I was a part of that
process for many years.
Do NOT change your clock during the day.
If you do, you’ll make it get dark earlier in the evening and mess it up for everyone.
What a picnic *that* is. :)
And that new spending bill is 2700 pages.
Talk about timing. Seems fitting.
I always confuse the supposed helpful reminder of which way the clocks get set twice a year. I know the saying about Spring forward and Fall back, but I can equally see “spring back” being a saying like “spring back into action”, and “fall forward” in context would be, “Don’t lean to far over the cliff, or you will “fall forward”.
So this supposedly helpful reminder never works for me. Atomic clock works though
“just great. Now I have to work 13 hours tonight instead of the normal 12.”
You’ll get it back in the spring, if you havent moved on to another job.
“Atomic clock works though”
I enjoy the correct time as well and use the 24hr clock. I started that back in the 60’s either during the space-race, ARRL, or perhaps BSA.
Works for me! 👍
That depends on my schedule. I work Friday, Saturday and Sunday every other weekend, and that switches between 12 hour days and nights. But then every other weekend I get 3 days off in a row. The good with the bad, I guess.

Salaried jobs are different. But we did the math on 24/7 recall and some other factors. Uncle Sam made out, we earned ouŕ wages.
I set the alarm for 2:00 AM, then I set the correct time on my clocks.
I agree. It’s unnecessarily confusing.
Saving this one for sure.
I worked with a woman who actually did that.
.
be sure to wear your mask...
Good idea! 👍🏻❤️👍🏻
