The headline alone has 3 falsehoods: 1) Japan stopped using vaccines, 2) Covid has been eradicated, 3) IVM is used in Japan

Not eradicated, but almost 0.7 cases per 100K. India is 1.0 cases per 100K. The US is 21.8 cases per 100K. UK is 60.9 cases per 100K.

I actually didn't make any such point; I have no idea what their vaccination rate was before the late summer spike. I would guess it was way closer to 60% than 30%.

Singapore was at 90%+ BEFORE it's huge recent spike. High-vax countries in northern Europe are seeing rises, Spain is not, and Brazil is seeing no spike at all - now.

I personally don't think that confident predictions are justified on either side of this debate, given the ups-and-downs the virus has taken in various countries.

By far, however, the absolute superstar among foreign nations dealing with COVID is Japan. Japan has PULLED the vaccines and substituted Ivermectin – and in one month, wiped COVID out in that country!

Not surprisingly, this is disinformation, so you’re getting called out.

Cite sources where Japan has “PULLED” vaccines in the manner you suggest (suggesting ALL vaccines everywhere) and substituted Ivermectin in the place of vaccines.

I’ve copied two FReepers who live in Japan, in case they have information.

My stepdaughter has a couple of friends that were just vaccinated on Friday. She drove them to the site and back home, and she said there were quite a few people at the location (a temporarily closed banquet meeting center in Fujinomiya that has been repurposed as a vaccination center).

I think that Japan doesn’t have a way past their censors
(yet) that other countries have found. During their Fukushima disaster, the government weaponized their ability to silence free speech - they excel at it. You could be arrested for saying something the government didn’t want you to say - it’s what Biden hopes to bring about by saying supporting ‘vaccine hesitancy’ is terrorism and tasking Homeland SEcurity with monitoring it.

SO with vaccines failing to halt infection and transmission of COvid, and rates for hospitalization and death just awful for those vaccinated, Japan’s success can’t be due to toxic vaccinations and organ killing Remdesivir. The fact that Japan’s success matches that of countries using Ivermectin is evidence that something like Ivermectin or HCQ is in use there. Prayers up for all who fight their government’s abuses and are censored.
