Dump out all the power charges and wadding, and look for a ball?
I don't know, I'm not an expert, but I'd imagine half cock the weapon, spin the cylinder, and look at the flash holes and ensure daylight is seen.
If Baldwin is convicted of a felony, it should be illegal for him to own or possess even a prop gun. We need to keep prop guns out of the hands of criminals, including the blanks they can be loaded with and fired off by anyone who can pull the damned trigger. Somebody taken hostage by a perp holding a loaded prop gun to their head is still in grave danger and somebody holding a loaded prop gun to their own head may not be faking suicide...I see a market for an alternative to prop guns, etc. as we know them. However, I wouldn’t really care whether or not I’d be the first person on my block to own one. I also see how that could create a black market for illegal prop guns and their paraphernalia. If somebody thinks they can use a prop gun as a weapon of terror, murder, or rob banks and party stores with with one and get a lighter sentence, then maybe they’ll start doing that thinking they’re a step ahead. The whole world is watching!
Love how all these anti-2nd amendment actors make millions playing parts in shoot’em up, bang’em up movies full of death and destruction...using guns and carbon fueled explosions.
Then off set...advocate for the destruction of our 2nd amendment rights. What a bunch of phonies.
Perhaps INSTEAD of condemning guns and gun owners, Alec Baldwin should have learned BASIC gun safety! The REALITY is that he pointed a loaded gun at a person and PULLED THE TRIGGER! That is NO “misfire”, the firearm WORKED AS DESIGNED. HE failed to CHECK to ENSURE that it was unloaded. I’ll bet he did not even know HOW to CLEAR it.
Agree.
