So if you’re over sixty and faced with the following choices:
1. Get vaxed every seven months and not get infected, or if you do your reaction will be rather mild, or...
2. Don’t get the Vax, get infected, and face a much higher probability of ending up in a respirator or dead
So which one would you choose?
This is simply a matter of the Delta variant “wave” hitting Vermont later than most other states. If you look at their trend line, they’re on the plateau at the top of their line. Their cases will soon plummet and be reflected in the trend line going into a deep downward slope.
You may have to renter Vermont in the drop down selection menu.
In terms of raw numbers, in lieu of death rates, it’s perhaps notable that, according to the CDC, there were no deaths involving COVID in the state of Vermont in August and September of 2020. Most recent, in August and September of 2021, there were a total of 51 deaths involving COVID in that state (i.e., 17 in August and 34 in September). An anomaly? The start of a trend? Time will tell, I suppose.
