there is a cable show called ‘monsters in America’ or something like that- they review a number of odd lesser known monster tales- (like flying demon monkeys, some ‘bat squatches’, the ‘theory’ that big-foots are aliens that show up when folks spot UFO’s, etc- etc-) there are some pretty wild legends all over the US-
