GREAT, maybe we can have some reruns of Andy Griffith or the Archer Bunker. Wow, how about Hee Haw.
I remember them. Beautiful women who portrayed all American women, clean and wholesome films that you could watch with the kids. Good guys were good guys and they always won because they were good guys.
I miss those movies and those stars.
if you only knew ...I am not in nor have I ever been employed in Hollywood, but my business for the last 50 years has been to Feed Thier Addiction while extracting a very good living, and I have more work than I can handle most of the time.
I am trying to remember the last time I watched a scripted TV show. I know it’s been a *long* time since I’ve seen a movie (TV, theater or media released) that overtly had woke overtones.
Funny but true, All of our Hollywood Idols we watched growing up Drank Booze, Played with Guns all the time and Chased Women, they were Real Americans. but right was always right and wrong was always wrong.
I’m a member of the IAT here in Hollywood ;) Just like any union, unions ALWAYS go on strike. The silver lining is we bleed the lefty studios dry.
Hey, I hear you.
I’ve been shocked by the sick crap that small town America can produce (including making 8x10 glossy prints for a murder trial … they were magnificent prints, jury broke down in tears whilst at social distance away from them … I, OTOH, got to see them close enough to make sure there was no dust or other defects).
Voting to authorize a strike is way different than going on strike.
Its a step in the negotiation process that is almost meaningless. All the affirmative votes does is authorize going on strike, if the contract fails to be ratified.
Oh Goody! Hollywood Woke Earns The Forever Strike!
All in The family is only on Apple TV
What happened to real comedy ?
What happened to real love stories ?
What happened to real drama ?
They were produced before the turn-of-the-century, and you can get them on DVD.
Hollywood today is DEAD !
me either
🤣🤣🤣🤣 Die Hollyweird, Die!! 🤣🤣🤣
Because of vaxx requirements? Nah.
Its a shame, a darn dirty shame. /s
Robert Di Nero is filming a movie in Mobile, Alabama right now. Alabama is a right to work state. If those unions in California keep this up, companies might quit making films in Hollywood altogether. With modern equipment, all that editing and technical stuff can be done anywhere.
Heartland is a good older series (2010] ? That I found on a streaming service about Canadian ranchers & extended family, conservative leaning, not especially Christian but better than most shows.
The other bull isn't what they are striking for. It's doing everything for pittance, killing themselves for no good reason except those woke shows that few will watch, and to the benefit of the talent in front of the screen and the producers who cook the books to make it look like a loss when they are profiting in the millions.
At this point, the unions winning wouldn’t make anything in Hollywood worse.
