We recognize Trump has made a lot of major mistakes during his presidency. The number one worst mistake was trusting people he shouldn't have.

Whomever planted the seed that covid is worse then the injection did a great job as he still believes it. Most likely Ivanka and Jared Kushner. He also stuck on the belief that vaccines in general are good and can't separate these one from older ones.

This isn't compartmentalizing this is living with the fact no one is perfect. Either way I do NOT believe he would mandate these injections as they're doing now.

No. 1. Trump believes its not harmful. Along with millions of others. We don't control the narrative.

Eh? Point out a prior post with any detail. I see ONE that says he'd stayed at 300 lbs. Which is not much of an in depth analysis. It is just general speculation.

The vent is a last resort (although you need to drop about 50% off your number.) My Dad and my brother both survived being on a ventilator at length, my Dad, repeatedly. However, I was much more interested in how someone said to be very healthy ended up sick enough to be hospitalized. My guess would be recently becoming pre-diabetic. And / or a high exposure.

Last week I by chance (was travelling) spent a couple hours talking to a football player, defensive end I would guess, with a blown out knee. He can't get it operated on, tho', because his blood sugar is too high = high risk of infection. He's brought his blood sugar down a lot, "eating like a deer", he said, but, it is still too high, esp. in the current environment, he was told. :-(

This is what we see in COVID. There is the initial infection, the Spike Protein damages lung/epithelial/endothelial cells, then, due to its activation of oncogenes and inactivation of tumor suppressor genes, senescence sets in 2-3 days afterwards. I believe it is when this happens that we see the progression to ARDS. It would be about the 7-10 day mark. The dreaded second week.

You’re still completely missing the point / my question. You posted a lot of info. on advanced COVID, but my question is what factors (weaknesses, environment, co-morbidities, other risk factors, etc.) may have lead this fellow, said to be very healthy, to get sick enough with COVID to go to the hospital in the 1st place?

According to most FReepers, healthy people should get a sniffle at worst.

I do have another question, though. Should a ventilator not be used if fatality, or organ or brain damage from low O2, is imminent? That’s the criteria most doctors I’ve been around use (and I have been involved with to give assent as POA in 2 of those cases.) (They survived & recovered.)

You’re asking two questions both with unknown variables. How can I answer that? Though the second question. it sounds as though the doctors either caught the person very late or let it go to long. Did they ever put the person on NAC or vitamin C drips?
