Appalachian trail is how long?? What is the trail like in NC?? How long can he make it out there?

If he really wants to hide he will stay way from the hiking trail and probably be in the higher elevations.

The good question is; when does it get cold in the higher elevations and when can you expect snow?.

Once the snow flies, he had better have a cabin somewhere and enough food to get him through the winter.

What they should be doing is watching the remote cabins for activity, as best they can.

To do this for more than a couple of weeks, he would need a great deal of help. It’s about to start getting cold up in those mountains, too.

IMO, this manhunt is a diversion, much like the OJ Trial, to keep people focused on anything but BIDEN, election fraud, Covid-19, the DEMOCRAT agena, CHINA,and the invasion of our nation.

Why wasn’t the suspect put on surveillance in the first place?

Because he wasn’t a suspect and there wasn’t a known crime yet.

What are the odds that he already killed himself? I am not a psychologist, but it seems that young men who become overly attached to their female partners cannot imagine life without them. They view break up as the end of the world, and react by striking out. Once they have killed the female, there is nothing to live for.

Grady Judd,an excellent sheriff in Polk Cnty said if he was the man in charge out west or in N Port, Laundrie would have never been released after the first confrontation with the girl.
I said weeks ago if Grady was in charge this would not have occurred and if it did never have dragged on.

The people on WEEI radio this morning said that there were three 911 calls from the parents house the day he came home to Florida.

Thats an understatement.
You need much to camp a few days and some experienced campers can “Hump” that in.
As you obviously know to live out there in Winter it takes time to amass all you need and you dont bring it in a back-pack.

I’m about one mile from the AT in WNC. It’s been 40F already in the mornings and we’re due for a killing frost at any time. There’ll be plenty of empty cabins around after leaf season is through and the summer people go back home. Lots of deer and wild turkeys.
