Twenty-five years later, I was researching my grandmother's genealogy. She was adopted and we knew nothing about her biologicals. We submitted my uncle's DNA and found matches. Turns out my grandmother's grandfather was from the town of Brno, and that summer I had been drinking beer in a tavern about a 15 minute walk from his church parish.
must hang out in african areas ,they dangerous honey.
That must be some newfangled celebrity stuff.
The redheaded prince talked about a genetic pain that’s passed down through the family.
Tap, tap, tap...ohmmmm, oops let me use this 1,000 dollar bill to dab my perspiration.
pffft
Wow, that must have been a weird feeling! Something attracted you there! DNA memory? Or your gr-gr-grandfather reaching out to you from the grave?
Let’s take this in context. She’s talking about events that occurred maybe 2 or 3 centuries ago. That in itself is not enough time to create new DNA structures. What you’re talking about is latent genes that must have been there for hundreds of thousands to millions of years. That’s not what she is talking about.
Please
I have to admit, my jaw dropped when I found out. I discovered a profile written about him in a book about Civil War veterans. As a young man, he had fought in Italy in one of the multitude of wars in Europe (circa 1842-1848). Then he immigrated mid-1850s and joined up with the Illinois infantry to fight in the Civil War. That’s where I learned he was from Brno, so I did the research and uncovered his baptismal records there. Totally stunning turn of events. He was buried in Wisconsin, so I don’t think he was reaching out from the grave... but maybe he was traveling with me and protecting/guiding me?
However she's a light skinned black and they're usually at the top of the social order. No doubt she'll have enough US currency with her which should soften life for her.
She also just might find that her fellow Ghanaians might not be so welcoming to her.
This kind of reminds me of what Muhammad Ali once said when he came back from Zaire in the 70’s.
Yes, considering the murder rate in Ghana is roughly double what it is in the US...
This woman is more proof that 99% of these psych types are themselves batsh!t crazy.
She won’t have to see it. She’ll be living in a gated area with armed security.
Discoveries like that are so much fun. I’ve been doing a lot of family genealogical research the past several years and have learned so much I didn’t know.
The best story I’ve found was a distant great aunt took off with a married man and his ten year old son. He was a scoundrel and sold part of the family business in Illinois, leaving his wife (the mother of the boy) in a reduced state. The mother hired a private detective who found that they had married and settled in Winnipeg where he opened a new livery stable around 1902. After a year there, he caught a horse disease “glanders” and died. His young bride got back to North Dakota where some family lived and she enrolled the boy in school there. The detective negotiated a deal where the boy could finish the school year in North Dakota before returning home to his mother. It was a huge scandal and covered in the Illinois newspapers.
I actually phoned up the boy’s great grandson and talked to him!
Our church has a missionary FAMILY in Ghana, going on now 15 years. They visited here last year, and I expressed my concern for their safety over there, as Christians. He promptly replied that their family and friends living there are concerned about OUR safety here with all the killings, fires, assaults, attacks, etc. They love it in Ghana, and would not want raising a family back here in the states. I was surprised about his feelings of being safe back there, but not the perception crime here.
Americans of all colors should work to make America a happy libable country. Step ONE is to secure our borders... and vote the ‘elites’ out of office.
Now that I think about it, something like that will get passed down not through DNA memory, but through the actions and responses of the family members who experienced it. For example, the anxiety a mother would pass along to daughters about walking alone at night which would cause extreme stress on a daughter who had not actually experienced the original event. It then becomes a part of her psychological makeup. Psychiatrists make a living unwinding things like that later in life.
She's a charlatan who validates and reinforces people's victimhood. So yes.
That’s quite a gruesome story! Amazing that her dad heard her calling out. Auditory hallucinations seem to be quite common.
I forgot to mention my relative’s story got a bit juicier. After her husband died of glanders and she sent the boy back to his mother, she ran off with her first cousin and married him! They wound up in a small mining camp in Arizona around 1910. It was the first time she surfaced in the records after the scandal in Winnipeg. Her second husband (her cousin) died after a few years of marriage. I learned from a second cousin that my grandmother always thought she dispatched BOTH of her husbands. She disappeared again, then would up living with her second husband’s family in Illinois until she died. She was buried in her second husband’s family’s burial plot!
Good! Both nations will be better for it.
They need to surrender their passports and take several friends with them.
“Would love a country in Africa that wasn’t corrupt and tribal.”
I’m not sure that importing American blacks would bring that about, but if they want to try I say go for it.
