Sugar is a dietary problem, and I’m bad about it. But HFCS in particular seems a little city. Fructose is the form of sugar which dominates most common fruits and 50% of cane sugar. HFCS is only 55% fructose, as opposed to cane sugar which is 50% fructose. So if HFCS is so bad, one apple should screw you up as much as an unbelievable pig-out on HFCS.
The problem is sugar being so readily bioavailable as it is in so many foods, many of which I eat for too many of.
* seems a little city = seems a little dicey.
LOL! That's actually a very insightful question!
So, first I laughed, then I had to think...I can recall 1 or 2 English pub-style joints...the usual bangers and mash crud...but you're essentially correct, there's nothing of any notable substance to 'British "cuisine"..
The crispy pancakes and arctic roll look good. I’ve never had either.
Pancakes with ham n cheese in em grilled up crispy? Hell to the yeah!
