They had to destroy it to cover up the time capsule contents showing the democrat party history.
Which will further cement future generations impression of us as a bunch of moronic, woke, sheep.
Interesting that Canada still has statues and memorials to Louis Riel, who was hanged for treason and murder.
Australia still honors the one hour long Eureka Rebellion flag.
But in the US, anything memorizing the Confederacy is torn down and destroyed.
Comrade, besides removing the objectionable stature of Lee, it is vitally important that all images of the statue be destroyed. You can certainly understand why this must be so. Future generations must not be allowed to question why such a statue was first erected, and they certainly must not be allowed to question why it was removed. It’s existence must be totally eradicated!
Your cooperation in this matter will be noted and appreciated.

Gotcha.
Lee’s statue will probably be melted down and recast into a George Floyd statue.
“WTF does that mean? You don’t have clue either.”
It means that they could not find the time capsule.
Would the contents of the time capsule have been revealed? Perhaps.
But since it hasn’t been found... has it been saved? How many of these old structures, cornerstones, keystones, statue bases, had Freemasonry present in the planning, construction, and dedication ceremomies.
I may not have a clue to this particular time capsule, but I do have a knowledge of ceremony and heraldry that occurred to public structures as they were constructed or how they were constructed or where they were placed which are directly related to the customs and ritual of the “craft.” It’s fairly common knowledge, but the public perception has waned, perhaps by design.
The influences are on public display in many localities, here and abroad.
Conspiracy theory? Maybe.
