It is good he got there on his own power. The O2 thing sounds of concern but that could be pneumonia? Which is the usual biggest danger from these Viruses but also can be treated.

I pray he will get better, and trust in Jesus.

Ensure you all are able to contact the medical people. It is one of the most infuriating things about this virus response is how advocates are not allowed….not allowing comfort, and vigilance over their condition, and speaking up for them. Make sure you are on the phone with them AMAP. Demand it.

If oral is not an option, then topical will work. People and horses/cattle use the same dosage per pound of patient. (A 100-lb cow and a 100-lb person use the same dose.) That dosing is for prevention. For an active case, the preventive dose is doubled or tripled and is taken daily.

Topical ivermectin is often prescribed for people for parasites and skin issues.

I think people say to get the paste instead of the liquid since that is what people are familiar with, and the instructions are easy. For an active case, I would prefer the topical liquid over the paste, since I would not want the large amounts of the inactive paste ingredients.

I’ve got sleep apnea and use a CPAP machine. Out of curiosity, I started using a recording Pulse Oximeter when I sleep. It’s a small ring you wear on your index finger. Now I’ve got a year’s worth of data which provides me a good baseline.
