Oh my gosh yes! As a woman I never felt so out of place among women as I did then. I didn’t fit among the flower children, and free sex and drugs era....everything good about woman was pushed aside for the “war cry’ then and I wouldn’t have any part in it....in fact stood my ground often much to ‘their’ surprise.

Yes, the reason there is no appealing birth control for men is that then the human race would vanish. It’s no accident that only the unappealing options of withdrawal, condoms, and vasectomy exist as birth control for men. Women have lots of easy, comfortable, effective and cheap birth options, and yet somehow there are still plenty of “accidental” pregnancies.
Yes much could be said on this topic. Also—why is it that men have ZERO reproductive rights? And why do men not lobby/vote for any? Many mysteries here.

Although I was still perhaps in my formative years, I do recall making an early conscious decision in favor of equal rights for women in general (although if i had had the intellect to think through all of the implications in detail, i probably would not have come to such a conclusion in such a glib fashion).
However, when I wrote my response, I was thinking most specifically of the JFK assassination. At the time I had some difficulty pinning all the blame on a single person who as events unfolded never received a jury trial. I put the entire controversy on a personal hold, until I finally had an opportunity to watch the Oliver Stone movie. Then I started reading about the assassination in detail. My eventual conclusion was that our federal government has been lying to its constituents since that time, and has yet to stop lying to its constituents, up through today. Hence, “sideways.”

Equal pay if a woman was doing a mans job was about as far as I would go at that time...and still think should be if she preforms well.
I loved being a young home maker and mother then, and more times than not defended my choice to woman who somehow thought sitting in a cubicle all day long was freedom. I still love being in the home though retired early.
As for the Government lying....much of was and still isi to cover what they should not be doing but do. In my 20’s family was involved politically so though my interest was not so much I still gleaned from the table conversations of politicians corruption. So I’ve never believed in how politicians “speak” as they all sound the same when running for office.
Oliver Stones videos etc. are always interesting but even he can go further ‘out there’ than one might seeking the truth. His interviews with Putin were quite interesting but then he liked Putin.

My observation is that almost 100% of governments that are liberal/socialist/communist/fascist were/are ruled by men. The armies that strong arm their citizens to keep it that way consist of men.
I’m pretty sure the concepts of communism/socialism/fascism were the brainchild of men. I’ll have to check a history book to make sure I have my facts straight.
They want to control...control a husband, children .. they want every day to suit them ..they can’t be a conservative.. they think we are weak and trash.. they can’t even be a Democrat.. dems don’t go far enough.. demand enough...tho they have become the commies, with those few leading the way.
I won’t go on.. my opinion of most women does not bode well.

While Eve was “deceived” Adam was the one given the command not to eat of the apple....so he was actually first to break the commandment outright.......also interesting is after Eve ate she simply turned and gave it to Adam...so what was he doing all the time this dialogue between eve and the serpent was going on?????? Just watching?
Also scripture tells men to ‘love’ their wives where it encourages women to’ respect’ their husbands. There is a distinction because a woman will find it hard to love a man she cannot respect.
Additionally ....after they sinned one of the consequences for Eve was, (and conveniently often overlooked by pastors),.. “And your desire will be to your husband and he shall ‘rule’ over you”......Woman have been kicking against that since the fall as it was then women lost their equality so to speak....recalling that she enticed Adam to eat and woman can and do that even to this day.
BTW...Woman regained their equality in Christ....thus Christian women often are quite satisfied with Gods purposes both for man and woman....and understand such.
Don’t confuse a womans desire to keep the home running smoothly with wanting to control everything. That’s her natural domain and she’s naturally suited for it. Like running a business she’s got to keep things running accordingly.
Heck I used a legal pad daily to organize and keep the household going. But then back then husbands weren’t required to do more than take out the trash or do the outside work. I suppose today I wouldn’t be quick to marry either if I were a man.

Your whole argument is based on faulty conjecture and weak assumptions, has no logic, and by your own admission is merely your opinion based on faulty observations.
You have simultaneously both destroyed your own argument and made a fool out of yourself in ways that nobody else could have. It’s been rather amusing watching you flounder like you have, and then finally having to resort to mockery and derision to try to make your point.
On the flip side, you have provided the perfect example of why this country is in the trouble that it’s in. Your blame-shifting responsibility away from yourself and trying to pin it on women has been men’s MO since the Fall.
Feminism has taken off because women have no interest in men who act like spoiled 12 year olds when they don’t get their way. Act like a man and you’ll go far further to righting the wrongs of this country than you will by denying women the vote.
Men are not exempt from that.

Many abortions are done under duress from pressure from boyfriends and/or husbands who do not want the child.
A woman is not naturally wired to want to kill her own baby.
Men can blame all the evils of liberalism they want on women, but when they’d rather collect welfare instead of working and rather have the option of killing the child they fathered to avoid responsibility for it, then they will be voting liberal as well.
The unspoken (generally) assumption in this position is that women are the cause of all these problems and by subjugating women, they would all go away and we’d finally have utopia on earth.
Problem is, the whole history of mankind does not bear out that conclusion. The positive portrayal of islam in this whole argument goes to show how wrong it is.
Ironically, if giving women rights causes the problems, then taking them away should fix them, but the example given of islam proves that to be a lie as well. There is hardly a culture on earth that oppresses women and denies them any basic rights as islam and yet islam is literally the scourge of the earth.
Clearly, the problem isn’t with the women and the amount of say that have in politics.
