I think it is and has been available in many places for quite some time now. What disturbs me is that it is only now being made more widely known to the public by the press. The FedGov still isn’t talking about it AFAIK.

I realize that they would have known less about its effectiveness 10 months ago but it never would have been given to a POTUS unless there had been strong confidence in it last October.

IMO it borders on criminal that information about it has been ignored or suppressed for so long.

You can’t get an FDA Emergency Use Authorization if there are other effective treatments for your target problem; so there aren’t any in the US.

This study of the use of Ivermectin was published in November of last year. Draw your own conclusions as to the effectiveness of Ivermectin as a preventative or prophylaxis for Covid-19

800 people were given Ivermectin, ZERO got Covid-19
400 people were not given Ivermectin and about half of them got Covid-19

I guess places like Africa, India, Russia etc. just can’t keep up the count like the US and Israel can. If it isn’t not being able to count it looks like someone is not doing things so well. If you are interested enough you will have to extract data to look at incidence of infection and death and % of population vaccinated. Compare Israel and US to places like Africa in General, Russia, India etc.

You also can’t make any money on a drug that is off patent and available for pennies a dose. Guess what, Merck, the original maker of Ivermectin is rolling out a new Ivermectin based drug to prevent / treat Covid-19. It will have a patent. The gold rush is well underway but the mines have been salted.
