They make it sound like this is new. Trump got this in Oct. ‘20.

Yes, they've been offering it for a while. It's the best Covid treatment option out there. The clinic my family doctor works has been giving it for at least six months. That's in central Mississippi.

a rare admission of a double vaxxed death among the very few “covid” deaths in Australia today. naturally “underlying conditions” get a mention:

2 Sept: news.com.au: 1288 new locally acquired Covid-19 cases in NSW, seven deaths: Gladys Berejiklian
A fully vaccinated man has died with Covid-19 after acquiring his infection in a devastating way, as 1288 new cases are recorded in NSW.
by Evin Priest
Tragically, chief health officer Kerry Chant revealed the man had become infected with the virus while in hospital for another illness, making him the 12th death linked to an outbreak at Liverpool Hospital.

“He had received both doses of a vaccination however he did have significant underlying health conditions,” she said.

The other deaths were...(four in 80s etc)...

At this point the vaccines are entering the same efficacy of preventing severe cases and death as a single treatment with these antibodies.

Say goodbye to your license.

~~~~~~~~~~~
It appears to be a 3rd or 4th tier treatment. Top tier treatments are prohibited (Ivermectin, HCQ/AZ and others).
It’s tricky because your blood oxygen has to be above a certain level or you will be denied treatment and told to go to the hospital, where you are denied everything except a ventilator.
I say ‘tricky’ because people can be functioning rather normally, aside from onset of illness, and at that l evel they would have the blood oxygen level required for monoclonals. But from the very start of this plandemic, blood oxygen levels are often below what would assume based on how the person is feeling, functioning. So it’s easy to be under that level and still be willing and able to accept outpatient treatment, but the ‘rules’ say you’re too low and you can’t have the treatment.
One person I know in FL went to one of the DeSantis infusion centers when they first opened and they didn’t have IV capacity, so she got at least 4 subcutaneous shots. They did not help her. I know people respond differently and that’s only one case.
But if Ivermectin and HCQ/AZ are denied, I think they basically had to find something they would allow for optics, and so we have monoclonals. I’m grateful for anyone they help. I’m furious that the public is denied safe, effective FDA approved drugs in use for decades and saving lives around the world.
You make good points. My husband’s regular oxygen levels (pretty much all his life) are 95-97. It would not take much for him to drop below the threshold.
The nice thing about ivermectin and hcq is that they are available to us who are too healthy for monoclonal but still have a higher risk because of age (over 40, under 65). There is nothing else offered for us but go home and go to the hospital if you can’t breathe.
People that do Paleo or Keto won’t be > 35 BMI
How common is kidney disease?
Diabetes is widespread.
Not sure of immunodeficiency
Joe Rogan reported today that he obtained both ivermectin and the monoclonal within a day of having symptoms and felt pretty much himself as of today.
I don’t know about that, he looked a little rough, and for sure he has access that regular folks don’t, but from what I’m hearing from my people (very much regular folks) in Houston is that Regeneron is basically available to anyone over 18 who tests positive, and if you want ivermectin, you can get it prescribed and filled.
This probably varies significantly between states though.
I had covid and took this treatment. It’s #1 if you need treatment. My wife and I both got it because we both have comorbidity. We could tell that night that we were on the down hill pull with Covid. No more burning chest, no fever, ect. still have cough but it’s getting better.
I don’t get this either. Making it sound like it is new and just now offered.
I live in a backwater town that is a desert of medical care. Our hospital is a disaster and only a very few doctors and only one or two of those are anything but quacks making a living handing out pain meds or medical pot prescriptions.
And yet a friend came down with C19 early this last spring, saw the doc, tested positive, went to the hospital, got the monoclonal antibody IV. Said she felt better in hours and ready to go in two days but had to isolate for 2 weeks.
If they can do it here they should have it available just about anywhere.
Strangely some of our benefits come via the Cherokee nation and their largest Indian Health Service system in the country. My brother dubs IHS the final solution to the Indian problem but it may be getting better.
We have had 17 deaths in the county in the last week. That is a lot for us. Seems the ventilator and the CDC protocol is the kiss of death.
That’s amazing...
I figured mostly free for medicare folk but at least 1k for others.
It can’t be cheap squeezing the good stuff out of those tiny white mice :-)
I know the vax is free....
Say goodbye to your license.
Why? Regeneron has an EUA.
They aren’t that hard to get if you can show your treatment is safe and effective.
Monoclonal Antibody Therapy is much better than those options. Anybody in a high risk group who gets Covid should IMMEDIATELY seek Monoclonal antibody care (because of the reasons you mentioned, eg oxygen levels) and then they can try to get Ivermectin, HCQ, prednisone after they have secured the antibody treatment.
I Agree to disagree. If Ivermectin and HCQ were less effective, Fauci/NIH/CDC would have blocked monoclonals and permitted HCQ/AZ and Ivermectin.
Regeneron seems to be the only treatment I haven’t heard negative things about.
It’s seems both sides of the vax argument are good with Regeneron.
I take preventative measures by taking excellent care of myself.
Everyone should do the same.
