It's escaping, check the unvaccinated vs vaccinated data from Israel. They are having more cases per day then they have ever had. Deaths are as high as as they were last year at this time. This is a screenshot of downloaded data. I removed columns for 1st dose and early 2nd dose positives. Will be interesting to watch the weeks ahead to see if the virus escapes the third shot. There's really no reason why it wouldn't, the third shot is simply more of the same as the first two. I think Israel uses Pfizer only, which seems to be the weaker than Moderna or J&J.

Cases in the UK are very high too, but deaths aren't spiking like in Israel.

The UK cases are 25x what they were last year at this time. Israel and the UK are kind of a canary in the mine for what’s coming to the USA.

Both are now high incidence Countries, despite being high vaccination. They both used a mix of AstraZeneca and Pfizer, and Israel has now also purchased a bunch of Moderna, but I don’t know how far along they are administering them.

Indeed, examine those curves carefully. Comparison to the previous wave in both countries shows that the vaccines, acquired immunity, and probably now monoclonal antibody treatments, are holding down fatalities considerably, in the face of a much more infectious variant causing high case numbers.

Irrelevant. Except that, again, the CFR is way down, now. Comparison to the last wave would be more relevant. And honest.
