Thing is, facebook is run by a bunch of idiot millennials who probably don’t know what a Gold Star Mother is, or why she should be respected in her grief.

I have a Christian friend that’s still on FB. I explained to her what’s happening and her response was, “Oh, well I’m not political.” She didn’t understand and, no, she isn’t stupid. She just isn’t political. A lot of people are still on FB to stay in touch with family and........ they aren’t “political”. They simply don’t understand.

A lot of people here on Free Republic are political but still support the NFL and have Facebook accounts.
I closed my FB account last November, I think. Don’t remember the month for sure. One of my 3 adult kids had FB. He has been permanently banned. lol
The first amendment is gone the second one is on it’s way out.

Facebook is like a drug. They give you free samples until you are addicted.
Facebook is also like a job. Only you don’t get paid. You have to work to keep up your “free” internet presence but you have to view ads in between and you have to consent to be censored whenever they want You don’t have any copyright or other protection for the content you create which they are making money off of. They market your presence to get other people involved. It is the biggest pyramid scheme of all time.
And Twitter also. Without people reading tweets and following others Twitter can’t make money except in PRC. They think PRC is a good substitute for USA but PRC censors Twitter while Twitter censors USA. Facebook Twitter Instagram Google YouTube TikTok NFL NBA they are not your friends. And all the news media also either.
Biden is behind this for spite.
