No.
Why even bother mentioning turtles. How about 3-billion-year-old Archaea?
But the fact is that, while fossils often show that few gross morphological changes are apparent, on a microscopic level (think: immune response), tremendous strides in evolution have taken place.
No turtle currently living could breed with a 100-million-year-old turtle (were it to suddenly appear).

Many atheists don't actively deny the possibility that a god or gods might exist.
Rather, they simply say: Until I am provided with forensic-level evidence of the existence of such a god or gods, I will refrain from believing in it / them.
See my tag-line.
Regards,
When was that? Are you referring to the Cretaceous-Tertiary Event? Or what? How many millions of years ago did that happen? When you say "we" survived, I assume you mean: Homo sapiens. So is this a recent event you are talking about?
Regards,
Evolution doesn't necessarily take place in a readily apparent manner (i.e., gross morphological changes). It can also be more subtle (biochemical / metabolic changes).
Are you an expert in cockroach anatomy? Are you qualified to examine a 200-million-year-old cockroach fossil and compare it with a modern cockroach and conclude that "no evolution has occurred?"

“All this crazy talk is probably driven by” a government grant...
Just offering up a different theory ;)

// Really? How different are we from those of Washington’s time a little over 200 years ago?
Exactly. I suspect that whomever wrote this, is misstating time scales. The hypotheses given is interesting, but I’m not sure how accurate it is. Seems to be a bit of hand-waving going on.
