Reporter sucks. While this “Ruby” is set to “appear” before a judge/court later this month, it doesn’t tell us whether he/she/it is being held without bail/bond, etc.
If Canada wasn’t a Marxist-leaning country, I’d say that Ruby would be held in jail/psychiatric ward for his/her/it’s own safety.
Can anyone do a follow-up on where this cretin is?
If he’s loose on bond/etc., that means I won’t be taking my grandchildren to Canada for a visit.

It’s definitely been released. There’s another story from the DailyWire that’s linked above that includes an official statement from Toronto police that says “”Ruby is not in custody. She was released pending her next court appearance.”
I was interested if it was released ROR or if they made it post bail. But, unlike the US, Toronto jail and arrest records don’t seem to be readily accessible by the general public. So, I wasn’t able to find that anywhere. Also, looking for the information, it appears that most of their criminal trials are done by - wait for - ZOOM TELECONFERENCE because of Covid. Toronto is nuttier than Oakland and New York.

Not me, personally. I think if you sexually assault a child, man or woman, you should get the chair...or rope, more preferably.
