I don't know WHAT Trump's new site will be like, but if it s anything like parler, mewe and all the rest ... it's gonn'a fail.
THIS has been the vanguard of user friendly sites and I just wanted to say why I was thankful for FR.
The GREATEST feature of FR is the reply system;
I say something and forget all about it until a week later, someone comes home from vacation, sees my posts and replies to it;
"Not only THAT knarf, but the blue one too!"
"HUH?"
and all I have to do is click the reference number and I go to the post and the reply makes sense.
That does not happen in an other platform I know of.

And the ability to see up to 250 article excerpts (most with 100 words allowed), and without the multitudes of network requests typical of the sources that articles are from, plus the ability to ping others (unlike so many other forums), and a very readable layout (and without the gray text fad), and very importantly, mature, judicious moderation (though vulgarity needs to be censored). Just did 20 years a member. Found on Drudge in late ‘90’s and lurked a couple years. Can probably count on one hand the number of days I have NOT checked in on FR to find out the real news. Attended the party in DC also. First time I heard of Allen West was at the dinner/speech event. Wonderful man! Got to join Kristinn and others for the counter protest at Walter Reed. The Code Pink hens were in hiding that weekend! What was the one broad’s name? Medusa or something. They seemed to have drifted away.
FR is knowledge. Knowledge is power. And yes, monthly donor.
