...:and why he/she hasn’t been zotted is beyond me.
Perhaps the vaccines are defective?
Democrats killing kids and adults for political purposes and profit.
Ditto.
I’m genuinely puzzled by that, unlike these docs who are saying they’re now puzzled by these shots.
Why the n00b shot shills are given free pass, is beyond me.
“If it were any other drug this would be sufficient to halt its use.”
We are talking about something that is about 1/100,000 more frequent than what would randomly be expected, is not fatal, and in most cases is mild and transient. Like heartburn or chest pain - but rarer.
It’s just *baffling*, I tells ya!
Sometimes, I wonder what forum I’m on, lately.
o.O
Vito Corleone knows a remedy.
It’s pretty crazy for sure. Lol
They did do clinical trials. The first trials began March 16th, 2020. Phase 3 clinical trials began summer 2020 and results became available for Pfizer and Moderna in November 2020. So trials had been ongoing for 9 months when the EUA was issued.
Separate trials were performed for younger participants. The issue with myocarditis wasn’t discovered in those trials probably because it’s too rare to see. Typically a trial for an individual cohort will have roughly 5,000 - 10,000 participants. Myocarditis appears in roughly 1 in 90,000 kids.
You’re both incorrect on this. Yes, COVID-19 causes myocarditis in kids. Particularly in male teen athletes. The Big 10 does regular monitoring for cardiopulmonary issues in their athletes and found COVID-19 caused myocarditis in 2.3% of their athletes. (https://jamanetwork.com/journals/jamacardiology/fullarticle/2780548)
So out of a million kids, that’s about 11 who will get myocarditis if they get a COVID-19 vaccine and 23,000 who will get myocarditis if they get COVID-19. Which do you prefer? 23,000? Or 11? I prefer 11.
Myocarditis can be caused by lots of different things like viruses (including the common cold), parasites (more common in South America, less so here), various medicines (like penicillin), consuming alcohol, and many other things. You can learn more about the causes from the Myocarditis Foundation: https://www.myocarditisfoundation.org/research-and-grants/faqs/causes-of-myocarditis/
Further, most cases don’t present any significant symptoms, which is why it’s often missed. The Big 10 started screening for it as part of their athlete health program. In fact, when the Big 10 checked athletes who had recovered from COVID-19, they found myocarditis in 2.3% of them (https://jamanetwork.com/journals/jamacardiology/fullarticle/2780548)
To answer your question, if you have a kid with no clinical presentation of myocarditis before the vaccine, and it suddenly appears after vaccination, it’s likely that the vaccine caused that. So far, the evidence seems to be that this happens in about 11 out of 1 million kids. The Big 10 study suggests that 23,000 out of 1 million kids who had COVID-19 have myocarditis.
Big 10 athletes aren’t children, I think a distinction needs to be made here, and this is what the article is referencing.
I’m concerned with the typical “one size fits all” government approach, and no allowances made for age, comorbidities and underlying conditions, and the rest of it, including natural immunity conferred by having acquired Covid 19 and recovered from it.
Also, where are the health “czars” to inform everyone (for example) and explain that metabolic syndrome and/or obesity is the leading indicator on poor outcomes associated with Covid? Nary a peep.
Can we further agree that Big 10 athletes are under 30? Then yes, that is indeed what the article is talking about.
"Also, where are the health “czars” to inform everyone (for example) and explain that metabolic syndrome and/or obesity is the leading indicator on poor outcomes associated with Covid? Nary a peep."
On this we completely agree. There should be a lot more discussion in the public space about how sedentary lifestyles and bad eating habits are contributing to massive amounts of death and disease. Not even just for COVID-19, but also heart disease, cancer, and other major health problems. If people got off their butts to exercise and ate better, we'd see probably half our healthcare costs disappear.
Depends I guess on your feeling and point of view.
I would agree that all children are by definition under 30, but Big 10 athletes aren’t children!
What percentage of people (children included) have already had Covid 19 and recovered?
They should be testing people. Those who’ve already had Covid 19 should not he considered “unvaccinated”, the goal of vaccination is not vaccination, the goal is Herd Immunity. This includes variants.
I think it is generally considered not only unnecessary but potentially harmful to vaccinate in this particular instance, and we have to stop treating people as interchangeable meat sticks. 9 year olds are different than 19 year olds are different than 90 year olds, their immune systems.
I don’t disagree with anything you have here, at least as it relates to actual children (12 and under). Teens still seem to carry enough infection to be able to transmit and high schools have seen significant outbreaks. Is it particularly dangerous to those kids? No, not even the myocarditis which occurs at a much higher rate for COVID-19. That generally goes away on its own with some rest. But there’s a risk of them spreading it to vulnerable people. That risk doesn’t appear to be present with pre-teens. If I had kids that age, I wouldn’t be vaccinating them given the data we have at the moment. I would suggest that the risk is quite low, but I would also say the benefit is quite low as well.
Good point.
So the vaccine was too risky for the drug companies unless the were given legal immunity. It was just too risky.
But it’s not to risky for you to gamble your life on.
TY. ❤
