I agree. I went through this last week when I read the charges. It had to do with deducting expenses for auto and housing, iirc, by an executive.

Insane, because we allow every company and individual to deduct expenses for auto and housing if it is business related. I get to as a minister. I got to as a member of the military. In fact, they paid me a housing allowance that never got counted as income. Why? Because I was only in that location for the benefit of the military. It was not a place I would otherwise chosen to live was the logic of the tax law.

And you are correct. They will try to trip him up. His best response will always be “I stand on the 5th amendment not to incriminate myself.”

After all, the owner of a business with thousands of employees doesn’t oversee the weekly paychecks and deductions of the employees. That’s in the pay department, accounting, I suppose.

There is a critical difference. I do understand why you think that way, the Soviets and Russians told us to believe that line, and the Democrats and the media reinforced the message. But Fascism, Communists, Monarchy, and a Representative Federal Republic are easily distinguish among the others and from the other forms of government. You know this as well as I do, so there is no need to repeat what the Left wants us to believe.

I could care less what the Soviets and the Russians say. They have always been wrong and their sycophants, AKA the Left, the Democrats, and the mass media are similarly incapable of discovering and understanding the underlying truths.

Have a great 4th of July and ignore these morons.

DJT did write checks for his CFO’s private school tuition. But most likely this was either a “child care” expense reimbursement or a gift.

Executives are paid 24/7 and the use of company apartments near the work site, company cars, child care expenses, are common tax deductible expenses by businesses for their executives.

If the IRS didn’t make any arrests, then the clowns at the NYC level don’t have anything. IIRC these expenses were part of an ongoing IRS audit.

The brutality on the Eastern Front is just mind boggling to me.

Stalin once said,"The British gave time, the Americans gave money, the Soviets gave blood".

We gave a lot of blood in the Pacific Theater, and that was the only thing that kept the Japs from attacking Siberia.

Wow that was back when it was cool for “woke” people to make fun of rural white folks and the white subjects laughed with them. Ah the good ole days.

Biden and his administration are a bunch of ideologues who only know how to attack their main enemies —Americans—and count on the “nation of laws” mentality for their success. They stuck their teeth in the neck of Trump’s CFO because they know they can count on him to be of that mentality.

Now, when it comes to foreign enemies, they are clueless. That list that Biden gave Putin of things not to attack reveals that cluelessness. That is probably unheard of in the annals of world history.

Ever notice the Secretary of State? He has the appearance of all the stereotypical depictions of weakness situated in one body. In the eighth grade he would have been called a geek, a nerd, a sissy, etc., and probably was.

Even schooling is provided free of cost by the department of defense in areas where it is necessary or at the convenience of the government.

I imagine this is true for the education of children to the standards required by top flight talent for corporations to attract them.

The guy had the Trump Corp paying for his grandkids private schooling, and skated checks through other employees. He is cooked.

And it actually works pretty well. Fascism resurrected Italy, powered the first few years of Germany’s resurgence, and has been the force that has let China rise.

Which is why Oswald Moseley was very popular in Britain. Say what you will about the man, but he was a brilliant orator.

Just to add on Moseley, his big mistake was switching his loyalty from Mussolini to Hitler. Up to that point Moseley’s movement wasn’t particularly anti-semitic, but over time anti-Semites infiltrated the group and forced Moseley’s hand.

Correct. Thank God someone gets it!

I sort of understand why some people get ‘Fascism’ and ‘Nazism’ (obviously it should be all caps being a contraction but it looks too weird these days) mixed up. Interesting how the Germans went from fascism to Nazism; fascism doesn’t really inherently care about race or religion, even if Nationalism is a component that Mussolini considered a vital element.

And in my opinion, since Benito- the only professional journalist to ever assume power over a modern nation-state coined the term and implemented it he gets to define it :-).

So it would be quite possible to be a Fascist Jew, as hard as that would be for some people to believe, LOL.

Most people really wouldn’t mind Fascism here in America, I’m sad to say; with enough sops to the environmentalists, inflation under control, and a low unemployment rate a lot of people would get onboard.

There were Italian Jews who were Fascists.
Also the Spanish version - the Falange had Spanish Jews in it.

Yep.

Nationalism seems to always, and inherently, go too far.

It no longer is Nationalism when you invade other nations.
