Santa Cruz is probably the most liberal city on the west coast.
Highly unlikely any of this happened the way its described
Lots of recent US citizens refer to where they come from as “my country”.
Didn’t used to be that way, by the time they got their US citizenship, they couldn’t wait to say they were Americans now.
That might be kind of nice.
Don’t know why this guy is complaining? He get a tatoo to be noticed, and he was.
“It's an expression of me being proud to be Pinoy, a Filipino gentleman,” he said. “I'm proud of my country, you know, I'm proud of who I am.”
Is there a San Jose in the Philippines? If not, I'm confused.
There actually is at least one San Jose in the Philippines in Occidental Mindoro.

I have one tattoo half way up my left arm. My shirt sleeve covers it most of the time, and If I were 23 again, I wouldn’t get it. It’s a version of the Welsh Dragon.
