If the global warming would became a problem (so far is is mostly beneficial) the global solution, like Bill Gates mirror, or placing something else on orbit to reflect the sun energy would be a lot cheaper and more doable than this “sustainable energy” idiocy.
Building seashore levees to protect flooding is also realizable (Netherlands).
Finally nuclear energy is clear, safe and plenty and eventually we will make controlled nuclear fusion (Hydrogen). That will even make some Helium, we have a great shortage right now!

However it is a good example of how impossible it is for mere humans to alter the effects of our solar system, i.e. global warming.
