Obviously we can’t just strap a rocket to the planet and change the orbit by much, but we could strap rockets to some asteroids, slingshot them around Mars to accelerate them even more, then slam them into Earth like a giant game of billiards :)

No comment on her answer though, which implied she would check to see if were are doing that and then report back.

Ok, so we need to have a massive belt of rockets at the equator. When the sun is overhead they fire. When they are some degree off directly at the sun, they stop.

Eventually, we will move away from the sun. Probably about the time we’re all destroyed by Earthquakes from the moon’s orbit becoming non stable relative to the Earth.

We will move away from the sun and cool off. We’re all dead, the planet dies but global warming will be resolved once and for all! It’s a win!
