Rahm has tested negative every day, but his most recent test – which was performed after the conclusion of his second round (rain delayed) and before the start of his third round – returned positive at approximately 4:20 p.m. ET while Rahm was on the golf course. The PGA TOUR’s medical advisor requested a confirmatory test on the original sample, which came back at 6:05 p.m. ET, and was also positive.
I can't say whether it was a tainted sample and a new sample would test otherwise, or it was a good sample that was positive for COVID-19. I would think that Rahm would want a fresh sample tested, just to be sure.

well if they used same lab and same level of amplification it will come back same. test likely faulty and who cares if he has it, just distance him more. sunlight kills it the are out in the sun. they are gonna keep beatin gthis dead horse of how bad it is when it’s nearly 100% survivable if treated properly. probem is proper treatment was withheld from many and some others were in poor health to begin with. People have been tested multiple times to confirm and sometimes results come back pos, neg, pos, neg. The test is notoriously flaky.
