The MSM and Social Media seem compromised too. the level of anger and retribution against anyone suggesting that this was a lab leak or that the Chinese policies seemed to intentionally spread COVID to the rest of the world suggests that it is not just a difference of opinion.

The answer is very simple, the Big Orange Emergency is OVER. They can now tell the truth and rewrite their part in spreading outright lies that they thought were necessary to defeat Trump. How many lies have they admitted to telling? There was the “Russian bounty on American soldiers” lie, there was the “Trump ordered peaceful protesters tear gassed so he could have a photo op” lie. Those are just two of the more recently admitted to lies. I’m sure there are others and there will be even more coming.

The people in charge are DONE with COVID. They don’t want to hear the word again, except if used to say, “See how Trump failed, Biden is saving us now so everyone back to work”. Oceania has always been at war with Eurasia.
The plan was: get rid of Trump, revive the “normal” Republicans, declare victory, and flood the borders with our replacements.
They somehow thought that everyone who believed the panic scenario would fall into line as if they all knew this was really about Bad Orange Man after all.
