The district went Clinton +15 and Biden +11. It’s probably the most Democratic district represented by a Republican.

Yep. His district is the most Democrat represented by a Republican.

I wish the moron class would understand the principle of not letting the perfect be the enemy of the good.

Sorry about the All Caps. We like Mathys. VALADAO'S REPLACEMENT Valadao needs to be put out to the RINO pasture. Mathy's is the only best replacement that we're aware of.

“I wish the moron class would understand the principle of not letting the perfect be the enemy of the good.”

Yup, it’s either a RINO who supports us 50% or a Democrat who opposes us 100%

God’s perfect. Is He the enemy of the good? or perhaps what is called “good” is not?

I’ve yet to find a RINO that supports us 25 percent.

That means hold your nose and vote for him. McCarthy? Give us a break. Hope the voters down there can tell the difference.

God is perfect, humanity is not. So your analogy ends there.

Loosing on the important issues may be your way of becoming a Dimi - just pay the 50% dimitute. You should be looking for some spine instead of wining like a Six year old

Actually, it does not. Humanity cannot be good, because only God is good, as Jesus told us (Mark 10:18). That implies that perfection and goodness must go hand in hand, and thus it is impossible for the perfect to be the enemy of itself.

You are very impractical. What you consider “spine” is meaningless. Our future is determined by votes in Congress.

Valadao opposes HR1 and DC statehood, voted against Biden stimulus. He is 100x better than the Democrat who would undoubtedly win the district without Valadao running.

GO VALADAO!

Now you are just playing games. You know what I meant, and you don’t want to face up to political reality.

Ronald Reagan described it as: “I’d rather get 80 percent of what I want than go over the cliff with my flag flying.”

Confucius described it as: “Better a diamond with a flaw than a pebble without.”

The fact is, CA-21 is a left leaning district. You won’t get a perfect diamond there. So you can get a TJ Cox who votes against you 94% of the time. Or you can get a David Valadao who will vote with you 96% of the time.

No games. You don’t want to face up to supernatural reality, and appear to be embracing the way the devil wants the world to be versus how God wants it to be.

BTW, that alleged quote from Reagan (apparently from him to James Baker) is a favorite of RINOs. The apparently-correct form (very few sources available for either form) is somewhat better:
Die-hard conservatives thought that if I couldn’t get everything I asked for, I should jump off the cliff with the flag flying—go down in flames. No, if I can get 70 or 80 percent of what it is I’m trying to get … I’ll take that and then continue to try to get the rest in the future.
And the context is to get it out of his opposition, then majority Democrats, and that’s a high number to wrest out of them as I hope everyone here knows. The point is not to have to try to get it out of the Republicans, but you are here telling us to settle for a mere 10 percent out of a RINO rather than what Reagan said he would fight for out of the Democrats proper.

Since Red China is pushing the philosophies of Kung Fu Tzu (Romanized as Confucius) particularly in the USA, I will take that with a grain of salt. But with respect to his quote herein referenced, a RINO is very far from a flawed diamond—more like a rhinestone.

Yes, games. For your game to be correct, you would have to assert that my premise was supernatural. It is not. Humanity is utterly flawed, hence my point.

And no one is suggesting to settle for 10%. You are suggesting to throw out 96.8% in favor of 6.8%.

That’s the reality.

You can stamp your feet if you like, but CA-21 will not elect a Ronald Reagan. That’s reality.
