Actually it was Congress that certified those votes . Many states had sent duel electors that were accepted in the past but were ignored in this election. And where was all this pull up your big boy pants when The Democrats had a special prosecutor looking into something as absurd as Russian collusion for the first two years of the Trump presidency ?

And nothing is going to be done about.

I’ll predict the Democrats will never be out of power in our lifetimes.

+1
Historians will trace the end of our republic & beginning of the oligarchy to SCOTUS refusing to do their job in Berg vs Obama.

The republicans need to pull up their big girl pants and get in the game.

You are assuming they have the spine to stand up in those fashionable pantsuits?

My cursory reading of their case seems to me is not the same case you make - similar, but not the same - as the Constitution is not mentioned. That may be the missing point SCOTUS turned the case down on

We the people are going to have to get loud and be heard, or start studying how to speak Chinese.
Since Americans, as typoified by the GOP, have lost their collective spines, try "Jerry Teaches Chinese" and get free fight commentaries thrown in.

Or be old fashioned in your learning and try "Learn Chinese in 30 Minutes - ALL the Basics You Need"

States violated their own Constitutions, to the harm of other states. And SCOTUS refused to hear the case.

It’s corruption. Period. And Big Girl pants won’t cut it.

Until there is some indication otherwise, I’m forced to assume you are living in some fantasy land where even normal conservatives have stiff things holding them erect. Organic spines, not so much. Metallic prosthesis, maybe. Mostly flavored jelly made from dead animal hooves, more like it.

I stand corrected. It’s been a while since that line has been used on here. And thanks!

"In reality we have an illegitimate Executive Branch and there is no legal recourse. Which is precisely why the founders knew this government would need to be let's say, corrected, and they put that remedy in the top three Amendments to the Constitution known as The Bill of Rights.

Legalities, We have no shortage of legalities.. It's testosterone, that's what seems to be in short supply.. :(

This is the case that proves the point. Courts don't want to get involved in things like this. They don't want to antagonize half the country, for it would mean the eventual end of the Supreme Court as we know it. The justices a president appoints don't want to be seen as people who will do whatever he wants. The Trump judges didn't have to be so dismissive. They could have been more like Thomas or Alito.

Maybe there were other things people in government could have done, but this was never going to end up with Trump having a second term. There wasn't going to be do-over and in most cases there was no way to say which votes were fraudulent and which weren't. Nixon knew how impossible it was to overturn the official election results, so he didn't try. President Trump certainly should have pressed his case, but he should have understood what the pretty much certain outcome would be.

“What a novel argument! I’ve only seen it posted on FreeRepublic about 100 times.” What a coincidence! Biden's only been Administrator for a little over 100 days. A daily reminder doesn't seem like too much.
