Kennedy is an old-style Dem. I don’t agree with him on climate change, but he’s solid on vaccines. It is a topic that unites conservatives with some Dems.

I’m not laughing. Just being pragmatic. I’ve known about 15 people personally who were supposedly “positive” in my area (but who knows, with these squirrelly tests!) Ages were from around 21 to 86. All are fine, and said it was more or less like a flu, except five who were asymptomatic, and the oldest two ironically had only very minor symptoms, for several days.
I don’t even think any of them used HCQ or Ivermectin, though I have some of the latter on hand just in case I or loved ones ever want it. It’s been quite a while since anyone I know has been sick, so it seems like it’s on the way out here, for now at least.
The most important thing is to keep your immune system strong. We are older folks, and have never repressed ours by avoiding people, using sanitizers, wearing devices that inhibit normal breathing, or acting in any way like germophobes. Nor will we be getting these shots. Instead we get fresh air, sun and exercise, use common sense, socialize with like-minded friends, and take all the right vitamins and supplements, which I’ve been doing since long before Covid, and I’ve not been sick with anything in over three decades. So no, I’m not afraid, either.
I support their right to do so. I don’t support the action itself.

I have a very high risk relative, obese, diabetic, high BP, kidney issues, alcoholic, Parkinson’s disease, who contracted COVID and was sick for a few days and bounced right back.
There are a lot of good reasons to avoid the vaccine that have nothing to do with fear, but have a lot to do with wisdom.
I refuse to let fear be the motivator to push me into decisions that I will probably regret later in life.
I am not looking forward to getting sick ever, but I am also not living in fear of this thing. God is in control of my life, not COVID. And even if the worst happens that I should die from it, so what? I know where I’m going. What’s to fear?

That has not been conclusively proven. It’s merely been claimed. And that by those who stand to profit the most by getting people to use it.
When there’s that kind of conflict of interest, one is right to be suspicious of the thing. After all, who trusts a used car salesman?
This injection is technically not a vaccine.
A vaccine could not receive EUA for use.
She’s right to refer to it as an experimental injection because that’s what it is since it’s not by definition a vaccine.
And those numbers for survivability are fudged as they are factoring in those vulnerable who were murdered by cuomo et al.
For the average American, taking out the murdered, the reports attributed to COVID that were not from it, that survivability is even greater.
And if the average American wants to do something to lower their risk of complications form COVID, they can do one very simple thing.
Lose weight.
Not to mention the untold numbers of people who got covid but weren’t included in the numbers at all, because their symptoms were so insignificant that they didn’t even bother to get tested.
I never went to the doctor.
They aren’t going to know you’re sick if you don’t tell them.
