“Only because of peer pressure” is a form of reverse psychology meant to take away resistance to peer pressure.

A good friend of mine caught Covid at his family Christmas party. He was at home until his blood oxygen fell to 77%. Then he spent about six weeks in the hospital, most of it on a ventilator. The last week his kidneys failed completely, Acute Kidney Injury, happens with severe cases of Covid. He died and so did two of his great aunts. His wife also caught it but had a mild case.
When I got my 1st Moderna vax I had chills for days. That can happen if you’ve already been infected with Covid before getting the initial shot. I suspect that I had a mild case back in January 2020, about a month before it was known to be going around the US. For almost two months I was having difficulty breathing. Docs thought it was asthma, but my asthma meds weren’t helping.
I’m sorry to hear that but it does not change that this so-called pandemic has been over hyped.
Every flu season causes death, too.
You do realize that venting people is what killed many of them, don’t you?
I’ll wait for the animal test results to come in.....

Yep. The truth has always been that it is in between “it’s going to kill us all!”, and “It’s just the flu”. It’s a serious disease, but not worthy of the hysteria nor killing our nation.

What meds/treatments were offered to your friend, before and after he went to the hospital?
I’ll wait for the animal test results to come in.....
Especially the ones exposed to (new) viruses.

The vaccine doesn’t stop you from getting COVID, or from transmitting.

In the mean time, have faith in Big Pharma. Also, maybe there are some uncontrolled, non-randomized post-release studies you can find to back up the choice you already hastily made.
The rest of us can keep an open mind about it, while cases and deaths drop like a rock.
