Mr mm has been in the back of Wegmans for work related issues concerning HVAC and he was very impressed with the cleanliness of the food prep areas.
I have had very, very little problem with any of their products and they ALWAYS honor it if you bring something back. they never post dated their meat to the best of my knowledge and one time when I asked a meat dept guy about it, he said their meats will always last several days past the expiration date and if they don’t to bring it back anyways.
The salmonella isn’t Wegman’s problem per se. It’s from Plainville products with Wegman’s store brand label on it. So it’s really Plainville’s problem.
Wanna bet the plant sourced to the outbreak employs illegals...?
It’s Wegman’s problem if they knew about any issues at the plant.
Try asking anybody at Wegmans about country of origin for their beef and pork.
Wegmans works on updating and expanding products; customers aren’t necessarily happy about it
When buying house brand, I compare salt and sugar content, first ingredient listings. There are a lot of Weggies' house brand items I will not buy.
