They could have been allergic to the filler in the tablet or capsule, and they could try another brand. Or, they may have eaten something at the same time that was the actual problem. Or, one of them experienced it and the other one had "sympathy symptoms." Agree with the above post that it is a necessary vitamin.
Once when I was very deficient, I was prescribed a super-strong capsule. Could this have been what happened? Might be better to work up to a tolerable dose a little at a time. My family has had a lot of people with cancer, and also who don't tolerate sun well without burning; so I've been taking it for years as a preventative.
True, but people have been conditioned to fear sunlight because of skin cancer.
