Doctors I trust say all protocols were covered....
President Trump and Melania took the vaccine....
No one is forcing you to take the vaccine.......but those of us who DO or HAVE are constantly having to defend our action ......by folks t telling us or insinuating here on Free Republic....****not you Rooster*****that bad things could happen to us and how we don’t know what we’re doing!
I know folks even younger than I who had Covid .....and yes they survived but relate the horrible weeks they were sick
We did not take this without much discussion and lots of prayer!
My husband is the reason I got the vaccine....(Moderna)...... and Pfizer for him
We had NO COMPLICATIONS!
That works for me just fine.

As of now, it is not a matter of preference, but availability.
I got my first Moderna jab yesterday. Arm is store / stiff like what I get with the flu shot.
I think the poster wants actual information, not false narratives and propaganda.

FYI, per a trusted Doctor, they had not been able to EVER get these past the animal testing phase (look it up. It’s 100%true) The only way you could test it on humans was Emergency Use Authorization (EAU). It’s basicallly “Right to try” as in “ the medicine might kill you but if you take it, you have a chance to survive”. I’m seeing people who are not sick or dying willingly line up to be lab rats! Imagine that!
3000 people at my retirement community in Florida took both Pfizer shots. No serious problems after 6 weeks.
Like many others on FR, I have had my vitamin D3 level tested (via blood draw) and take my Zinc regularly. D3 and Zinc don't result in hospitalization or death.
None. Never take flu shots. I’m immune from Covid-19 - had it in January - it was nothing. And I’m 75, 25 lbs. overweight, and have cardiovascular disease (totally under control, great BP and no blockage anywhere). Wife also had it, only a short slight fever & mild cough. We are fine.
I had a call from my cousin (former Duke professor, liberal, and acquaintance of Fauchi) who asked if there was any cancer in our family. She had taken the vaccine (don’t know if it was Astra-Zeneca or Moderna) back in the fall of 2020 as a test subject. She had just had a mammogram which showed she had swollen lymph nodes, an indicator or cancer. Neither my wife nor I plan to get the vaccine as we are both healthy with no co-morbidity issues. We’re conservatives by the way. And no we don’t trust the Federal government.

BTW, I just found out that in 2020 all of the following happened to my friend’s 86 yo mother
She moved out of home to her daughter’s home
She had bowel obstruction (probably had to go to hosp for this)
She had a stroke
She got COVID 19 and recovered and did not go to hospital. Cared for by her children none of whom have medical experience
No vaccine yet
My ? is are these officially now the only 3 ever available. Are there any other in trials or is this it.?
Have companies stoped developing any others ?
I took the Moderna and neither shot hurt nore did I have any side effects other than a little soreness. Same for my wife.
You are right I will be attending a good friends funeral Wednesday who died from Covid-19 after 3 weeks suffering in a hospital. He was 66 years old. I took the shot he didn’t
