I didn't find that to be the case when I was in San Francisco. It was hetero heaven if you were a straight male. They even mentioned it in a movie called Time After Time starring Malcom McDowell and Mary Steenburgen. Mary works in a bank and she is telling another female teller about this odd Englishman she had met. The other teller asks her "Is he gay?" Mary says no and the teller says "that's good enough."

Yes, the WNBA product doesn’t sell - but unlike women’s soccer, the male sport makes enough money to subsidize them.
