Time will tell, but if she is being set up for political office outside of the Cali bubble, I’m thinking she is fundamentally unfit as she has run nothing. Reagan was a union boss, and Trump built and ran a multinational real estate business.
My suspicion is that the reason Hollywood gets so upset about someone in their pecking order making good in the wider world, is because they think everything is about them and their pecking order. I might be wrong, but it seems like everyone there is so obsessed with which lists they are on that there has got to be some snobbery involved. The rest of the world probably doesn’t view Johnny Depp as a particularly good prospect, but he would have outranked both Reagan and Trump as an actor, for example.
I don’t know, but Meghan seems ill-suited as an American politician, but she may well be perfectly suited for destroying the monarchy. Its not all about us, after all. Can you think of any bigger target than the monarchy for someone who wants to destroy “white privilege”?
I don’t see Markle giving two craps about anyone’s potholes, but I do see a global aristocracy taking shape. Who’s the real queen might be what is at issue. Who gets to make the rules, you know?
