You did good... 99% of law enforcement are regular folk and things went fine with the questions they asked i. e. Straight forward and simple. No confrontation or escalation.

Being an ass turns regular folks nasty and worse case the next folks that show up maybe that early am visit.

They never should have come to your door.

Sympathetic, my derriere.

Note to LE: The Nuremberg defense didn’t work for Nazis. It doesn’t work for you, either.

You handled the encounter well. Assuming, of course, that the agents did not go back to the FBI office and write up a 302 saying that you were hostile, revealed extremist views and associations, and admitted to an assassination attempt on Nancy Pelosi. As it is, the FBI has lost cases because juries are increasingly skeptical of 302 reports because of the FBI's failure to record such interviews.

For example, the wife of the Muslim shooter of the Orlando gay nightclub walked at trial on federal terrorism charges due to the lack of a recorded statement. The defense attorney pounded the FBI for their policy of not recording their field interviews, thus losing corroboration of the self-incriminating statements the wife supposedly made according to the agents in their 302 report and testimony at trial.

“OK, that’s all we need to know” sounds ominously ambiguous. Is that all they need to leave you alone, or is it all they need to know to place you there and therefore catch you in a rather overlarge, but nevertheless deadly, dragnet?

Bank of American gave the FBI credit card information on any of their customers in that area on that day...

I'm sure the white liberal 'elite' thugs at "Homeland" - had access to mega data and 'shared' it with the FBI - under the table of course since rules about spying on American citizens without 'cause'.... is illegal.

I'll bet NO ONE turned you in... democrat thugs in various DC groups illegally used information they should NOT have had to use legal participation in a protest to intimidate you.

Think of the outrage and screaming by the sissies at the New York Times and Washington Post of the same tactic had been used against Antifa and BLM while they were burning down our cities to the tune of 2 billion dollars worth of damage and scores of people murdered.

Our out of control rioters broke one window and damaged one door... by comparison to the 2 billion in damage done by liberal elite thugs.

Meanwhile...

BREAKING: FBI raiding homes of Trump supporters who were not inside Capitol, inclg DEA agent who had gun & credentials confiscated. But most case files read: "Interviewed, participated in 1st A activities, closed." Same scrutiny not applied to Antifa/BLM agitators who were there

They're just following orders.

They were sympathetic to our point of view and said that a great many people in Law Enforcement were as well.

As a member of L.E. they and you are very much correct.

I always wonder, when people talk about the military or L.E. breaking down doors, confiscating weapons, or sending people to "reconciliation camps" - do they actually know anyone who's served in either capacity? They are with US!

Based on news sources, it was probably Bank America volunteering your credit card charge information to the FBI.

If you used a Bank America credit card or check while on you patriotic visit, you might want to give your local branch manager a call and ask about why they violated your privacy and ask, should you decide to file a class action lawsuit, who in the Bank America organization should be named, if it is not the branch manager?

Good luck. At least it is good to know that rank and file law enforcement view this as a fool’s errand.
