Hey, maybe you wouldn’t go out on a date with her - but you’d sure want her in your foxhole!

I’ve seen “Warning shots” get people put in jail in my state.

If they were not threatening her, why was she shooting at them?

If they were not threatening her, why was she shooting at them?Hero complex? Maybe she was sick and tired of criminals not being caught?

If I was the DA and they were arrested, YES.

Would you say that to her face? What if she’s a Freeper? This is probably one of the worst, most expensive days of her life, making a poor choice while trying to help out, and she gets compared to a dog? That’s something anti-gun leftists would do; why lower yourself to their level?

Were I an innocent passerby and got shot by that idiot trying to prevent people from stealing a cordless drill or whatever...her paycheck would be garnished for years. The unfortunate person who was shot may ultimately experience issues for the balance of his life.

I apologize. Any dog has more sense than she will ever have.

"...making a poor choice..."
If 100 additional people were to make the same "poor choice" as her this week...we would be lucky if we could save our RKBA.
This is the kind of disastrous negligent shooting that Handgun Control, Inc. / Million Moms / Moms Demand salivates to happen. They love to capitalize.
Very easy for them to "paint a picture" to assorted AWFLs and other rich suburbanites on why guns are so *bad* to have in society.

Remind me to avoid Phoenix, cops. Suppose the perps had injured or killed a store employee? Would she be charged for doing what she did?
She should not have shot at the fleeing thieves, but them again, the police were nowhere in sight, were they?
Not a good shoot but the criminals did get away, as usual. Now, did anyone get their license plate number?

Hey, maybe you wouldn’t go out on a date with her - but you’d sure want her in your foxhole! So she can shoot your kneecaps?

As a third party it can be argued that she had no need to become involved. It is also an argument that she threatened deadly force over a crime where no one was threatened with the same level of force. She will likely get a plea deal of probation and most certainly a mighty civil settlement against her.
When all is said and done though, I can see this frontier vigilante justice as a future trend and in crime ridden areas, necessary because authorities have said they will not respond appropriately to shoplifting.

She’s obviously too stupid to own a gun.

I can picture this sort of thing happening a lot. I can’t believe it doesn’t happen more than it does. My wife is a CC/LTC instructor, and I often encounter some of her former students and ask them if they’ve fired their gun lately. The response is often: “Nope.”
