I know for a fact that others like me are NOT “dealing with this” very well at all.
It’s a complex issue that is more than the actual assault, it’s also the fact that many times [most really] the victims get little or no support from those who were supposed to protect them as children, usually because it’s a family member and OMG, we just have to keep the peace and not alienate the family.
So we get thrown to the wolves, as it were, as a sacrifice to “peace”.
I have no words to describe how it feels to be considered of LESS value than a child molester.
You carry that with you your whole life.
And now, the whole nation is living our nightmare and the Dems and far too many Repubs are acting as the family who only wants “peace”, damn those who are being crushed by this.
Sorry to sound so “melodramatic” but unless you’ve lived it, you can’t really understand it and I would not wish it on my worst enemy.
Is THAT what she’s claiming was the “assault”?!?
She should try being a 10 year old kid with some perv’s raging hard on rammed against her back, like Pedo Joe does to those terrified little girls he’s fondling.
She makes me SICK.
