No one would hunt chimpanzees for food.
There are so many other animals or other sources of food where anyone would be if they were where chimpanzees are.
Sounds like psychopathic activity to me.

I first saw African Queen in the mid 70s and even then that line seemed anachronistic enough that I doubted it would appear in a modern movie.

I guess what I’m not understanding is how the HIV virus can just sort of lie dormant and unknown for 60+ YEARS, and then all of a sudden explode into a pandemic in the 80’s?

In the late 50’s and 60’s, they were engaged in CIA sponsored activity. They were trying to weaponize cancer. The purpose was to give it to Fidel Castro. Read the book Dr. Marys Monkey.
If they were weaponizing cancer in the 1960's (and were successful at it) what would make us think that they haven't been trying to weaponize coronavirus's over the last 20 years? Which they have.
No one in the lamestream media has asked Fauci or any of the so-called experts why they have been working to weaponize a simple coronavirus into a killer.
There were a lot of infamous people hanging around New Orleans around that time. The professed girl friend of LHO was working with Mary.
The polio vaccination came from the same general grouping of people, and the green monkeys they used to incubate polio, were the same as those being used to develop a cancer that could “be given” to Castro. The high cancer rates of Boomers who partook of the polio vaccine is telling. It is something admitted in the literature, that early polio vaccines used material from green monkey kidneys that were cancerous. To say nothing of the original novel virus HIV.

My siblings and same age relatives will often say things to trigger my responses. They bring up the subject, and I fill in the gaps in their practiced ignorance. They roll their eyes at me. I can recite the false Russia Collusion, or go off on Fauci, but I don’t even know the most popular and newest movies and TV shows.
The Dr. Mary's Monkeys book was a real eye-opener, especially the cancer work. But, also the way LHO was handled. He knew he was a patsy.
All of it makes me open to the fact that there are people in high places who are up to no good and are using OUR money to satisfy themselves with evil.
Fauci and Gates are a world-class charlatans.
