No one must have bothered to view that video ahead of time. This shows, among other things, that MSNBC does zero fact-checking before going with a story.
But it’s Brian Williams after all. So this is to be expected.

I think NBC did air video of Mccarthy and Trump the next day. I don't think it was lack of fact checking - I think it was someone pushing the play button and knowing what was going to go out. It was perfectly cut and timed.

Just today I clicked on a CNBC link and it asked me if I'd like to make a donation.
Yes, NBC is asking for donations. I guess enough people aren't listening to their lies so the advertisers have gone elsewhere.
