President Trump should pardon everybody.đ¤
The senate may convene a trial, but the senate determines ALL the rules. A TRUMP Impeachment would look like a âCaptain Bloodâ trial from Old England, only a naive soul would think or believe otherwise.
!@@@@@@@@
Do you honestly think that there wont be hell to pay if Trump cannot even defend himself in a trial? 2/3 of the Senate will NEVER GO for this. I know its crazy right now but that would be the ABSOLUTE end of the Republic right there.............
Mitch only needs 17 gutless wonders from the GOPe and Rinos for the Dems will vote in lockstep to try and erase THE DONALD from their collective memories. Mitch is a sellout (he was around when the Pubbies had a 50-50 tie with control and the senate went along with the Dem idea of Co-Chairs and an even number of committee members. He would never threaten POTUS unless he knew the fix was in....JMO

I doubt that President Trump would pay any attention to the back-stabbing McConnell. What more can Beijing Mitch do to the President that he hasn't already done? There has never been an impeachment trial for any President that was impeached, and either resigned (Nixon), or left office at the end of their term. Do they really want to test those waters? Would the Supreme Court really want to dodge that case, thus setting an unpopular legal precedent? Besides, Pelosi hasn't even sent the Articles of Impeachment to the Senate yet. And President Trump has been busy writing last minutes E.O.'s and getting pardons done. When, in the past 4+ years, with everything that has been thrown at him, has Donald Trump acted like something is being held over his head?
If they banned him from running for public office, would that just be for an office in the party he was once a member of? How do they have the legal authority to ban him from running for office in a whole new party?
Unless they kick the bucket. Happens all the time.
And this time the Democrats and Republicans will be howling, but only the Republicans were howling when Bill Clinton pardoned fugitive-from-justice Marc Rich, and his partner Pincus Green on January 20th, 2001.
Lindsey Graham in February 2001 regarding the Rich pardon:
"We need to look at to make sure exactly what happened is known to the public and to deter any future president from doing like behavior, if it was wrong. In that regard, if we can do it in a bipartisan fashion, I think thatâs what we should do. Every American benefits when you can control X abuse of power. If this was an abuse of power, then we need to know about it.â
Yeah Lindsey...blah, blah, blah. Same blowhard today that you were in 20 years ago.
Thatâs my thought.
If it were he himself, I think he would blow it off.
His family is another matter.
yep agree. wasn’t himself. clearly holding back his personal opinions which he never did. I believe he probably planned to release more documents and maybe even pardon Snowden and Assange but was threatened
Did you ever watch the movie about him?
I sure hope all Deporables are burning up fax, phones and switchboards with very polite statements that the people do not want any impeachment proceedings in the Senate.
Nope. What movie?
McConnell and his wife are TOTALLY OWNED by the CHINESE COMMUNIST PARTY!
Once again we need to look into the mirror and say why the hell didn’t “I” do everything possible to get rid of this clown. We should have moved to KY. if necessary. He’s an obvious deep stater with ties to the chicoms. What more did we need to get a candidate to run against him.
The time has come to figure out a way to get ALL of the RINOS & swamp creatures OUT of the GOP once & for all OR to get the Patriots OUT of the GOP.
Personally, I’m sick to death of turncoats.
Yours, ex-cadet
the movie “Snowden” - came out in 2016...worth watching really good
