I wish all Americans, nay, everyone in the world, could read your post. Everyone needs to know that almost everything the media reports does not resemble the actual events. I have known this for decades and have seen it repeated many times when I have been at events reported by so-called journalists. I have complete contempt for anyone who calls themselves a journalist. Writing at a 6th grade level is not a skill. It takes them 4 years of J-school to do that. Pathetic. They are not capable of performing a real job, let alone do their current job.

The future of journalism is in the hands of the people to record and show the world what really happens, unfiltered. That is why this social media war is so important right now. Journalists, just like newspapers and soon, cable-news outlets have their days numbered. They are fighting for their very existence. They are cornered and have no other skills to do anything else.

I take issue with your 2:30 pm notation. We were in the back of the Capitol with several hundred thousand people, not a few hundred.

There was a pine tree that sort of became the unofficial Tree of Liberty because it was watered frequently by patriots.

I think most of the injured officers were self inflicted. They tossed out a bunch of teargas that floated back onto themselves.

Yes. There was a single red flare that shot up from the stage left area of the Capitol Lawn.

Very informative, thank you. I believe the riot was started by Antifa types. Some Patriots were caught up in the mob mentality knowing the election was stolen. However, I doubt they did little harm to anyone or anything.

If anything shows how peaceful once the protestors got into the Capitol is the pics of them walking peacefully along and not destroying any of the historical paintings on the wall or artifacts.

It reminds me of 10's of thousands (2or3 times a day) at Trump rallies around the country, and the pathetic HidenBiden in his lame virtual basement rallies and his 5-100? show at his few real time rallies. That alone shows the election was stolen. It makes NO sense to me nor my wife. Many statisticians have said the same thing.

Then you have the hundreds of eye-witness affidavits, etc. I'll never understand why the USSC claimed "no standing" in the Texas lawsuit with amicus briefs from some 15? States. They didn't even look at the evidence which is conclusive. I don't get what happened there. Sorry, got off topic.
