I’m willing to take the risk. Why? Because I’m an essential worker, not by modern Frankenvirus standards, but because I work at a 24 x 7 job with 12-hour shifts. Neither rain nor sleet nor snow, etc. It’s been that way since I started in May 2000.
It would be a serious detriment to my team mates if I actually got a nasty case of this bug and wound up in bed for 3 months, although they would appreciate the extra pay :-)
But this is MY decision. It shouldn’t be a forced government decision with something (mRNA) that’s being tried for the first time in human history.

Just got back to room at 6:27pm. No issues. The party protest was still going on at FReedom Park. On the way there I had my white MAGA hat on and my hoodie up cause it was drizzling. On the way home the hoodie was down cause the drizzle had stopped. It’s about a 20 minute walk from the Foggy Bottom area where I’m staying.
One bro said something to me in passing...Happy New Year. I just finished talking to 2 Trump supporter guys from Jacksonville, Florida. It’s all good here in DC.
