The only reason why so many guns were sold is because of the ammo shortage, most gun stores will only sell ammunition if you buy a gun.

Good luck finding 9mm ammo at my local Rural King! I also wanted to check out the Taurus G3, like the G2 I got but with a better trigger pull. The gun shops around here can’t get them in fast enough.

....many other popular guns are flying off dealers’ and gun ranges’ shelves....local range here ordered 4 Smith & Wesson 380 EZ pistols; they came in on a Monday morning and were sold before lunch, most sight-unseen, over the ‘phone via credit cards.......one dealer told me he has people coming in asking “what kind of ammo do you still have on hand?” and then they buy a gun to fit that ammo...!!

I hope a lot of the new gun buyers remember the 2nd Amendment was to protect the people from tyranny of government as much as self defense from perps.

The first thought of many is that these increased gun sales reflect an awaking of the right. This is not true. I belong to a shooting range which also sells guns. For years, those I would see there were military, security guards, and Freeper-types. About a year ago I started to see BLM types. Now I see only BLM, Hispanics, and obvious Antifa wannabes. They buy AR 15s and anything else with Glock on it, used or new without even a cursory inspection. Range time is scarce, and whenever I do get an hour or so, I feel out of place.

Remember this when you hear news of people buying guns in record number.
