Being discriminatory is not the problem. Nor are bias and preference. Every decision we make uses all three of these processes. The problem lies in the TYPE of discretion, bias and preference being used.

If you are basing your decisions on facts, logic, and reason, that is just fine in a logical, factual and reasonable world. We don’t live there anymore.

I am not sure how we can get out of this hole, but we have to figure it out pretty soon, or we will be entering another dark age, where knowledge and reason are rare. Only the true believers will be given a chance at furthering themselves, while the rest are crushed under the boot of fascism.

I’m pretty sure you got immunized against polio and rubella too. Oh, and if you have been to emerg for any kind of a cut, you’ve likely had tetanus vaccine too.

Regarding the “Catholic hospital”: a Protestant doctor refused to believe that my mother knew she was allergic to catgut sutures, and nearly killed her with a hysterectomy. It’s not the faith of the quack, it’s the fact that it’s a quack!

NO, I’m the Eldest 12 yrs difference in the next, maybe the last 2 of the 4 of us. But I doubt it, they quit school early. We rarely went to the doctor as kids, earaches were most frequent issue. Mom didn’t drive, dad worked swing shifts, so he would have had to take us. Him taking us anywhere but his brother’s was rare. Schools didn’t give vaccines back then.

I’m a victim of both CDC/FDA, CRAP. PAIN CONTROL NO LONGER EXIST, JUNKIES GOT EVERYTHING. Full sheet of drug reactions, 2 were allergic reactions no sooner than I took the pill, supposedly safe. Nothing can be repaired either. Med Shortages.
