I wish you were joking, but many on the left have proposed a social justice scale for vaccinations and it is certain that “illegal aliens” will be higher on the list than citizens.
This vaccine should go to those most at risk for death and that is clearly the elderly.

I have a good buddy that lives in Hawaii, who tells me that the entire state is Dem - and that even people who are traditionally “Republican” self-identify as Dem, simply to get elected.
I know Tulsi has some pretty liberal ideas, but she’s probably to the right of many actual Republicans on a lot of issues - and could be one of those “Hawaii Republicans” that self-identify as Dem simply to get elected.

As so many of those older folks actually VOTED DEMOCRAT for DECADES....they are reaping what they sowed.
On the other hand, they also paid their taxes, unlike illegals and should be getting the vaccine prior to the illegals of any age.
I know I’m sounding harsh. So freaking many of older church goers in the South and North voted Democrat because ‘their parents did.’
It’s a really hard nut to crack.
As for me and my beloved....not freaking way am I taking a vaccine shot for Covid-19. No way, no how.

I’ve been pretty critical of DJT at times on not taking action when it’s clear action is desperately needed, but it’s times like this that such criticism seems pretty well deserved.

Medicare and SS account for the LION’s share of federal spending. Culling the herd is the most effective way to trim the spending. Just don’t say it out loud.
We should be grateful to Rep Gabbard for calling out the CDC for their evil edicts. It is disappointing that President Trump and other otherwise steadfastly pro-life leaders are not doing the same.
Long established Christian (and Moslem) moral teaching holds that the lives of all human beings are equally valuable. An 80 old’s life, (or an unborn child’s life) is equally valued with a 30 yer old’s.
A feeble 80 year old is equally valued with a doctor, a first responder, a school teacher, or even a US Senator.
When care must be rationed, as with the vaccine, priority should be given to those whose lives are most apt to be saved. This would mean priority to people who are old, obese, or with bad hearts.

I’ve read that the vaccine testing subjects were not elderly or otherwise “high risk” individuals. That might be false, like so much “information” nowadays. Unless specific successful testing on the elderly has occurred already, it makes sense to me to start with smaller samples of elderly and those at the less vulnerable end of the spectrum, and monitor the results for a few weeks before going all in.
My 89 year old mom would probably agree.
She hates that young people are losing their jobs.
