It's going to put Twitter in an uncomfortable position.

It's been argued that these social media sites never wanted to get into the censor game and only did so after the were pressured by liberal journalists. Twitter knows that if they ban Trump, he'll simply go elsewhere and take millions of followers with him but they also know that the first time as former president he says something offensive, there will be howls from liberals, "WHY HAVEN'T YOU BANNED HIM ALREADY?!?!? YOU SAID HE COULD BE BANNED AFTER HIS PRESIDENCY ENDED!!!"

They're going to have to pick one or the other. It's going to be interesting to watch what happens.
